If you haven't been feeling well and you've been wondering if there's a way to cure a sinus cold naturally, this should definitely help you out!
Knowing how to cure a sinus cold is kind of like having the keys to the kingdom, isn't it? Some people get that cough that just won't quit at the end of a cold, and some people, like me, seem to get the never ending stuffy nose. Even if I just have a little nothing of a cold with other symptoms that go away quickly, my sensitive sinuses can go all wacko and it can result in me not being able to smell or taste a single thing for days! I hate that!
For a full-fledged cold, I have to admit that I do love my Advil Cold and Sinus, or something similar, to keep me moving, but honestly sometimes the natural stuff really just works better. My homemade cough syrup is one example and this essential oil trick is another!
A More Natural Option
I'm really just starting to learn about essential oils and all the things that they can be used for. I have a few favorites that I always keep on hand, but I usually just use them because I like the nice clean scent that a lot of them have. I'm slowly learning more practical uses for them though and this one is my favorite so far!
The last few years or so since Jack has started school has been pretty rough on our whole family. We seem to get just about every cold or flu bug that goes around, even though I always try to do all the right things to keep our immune systems fully functioning.
We're lucky that we don't seem to get anything quite as badly as everyone else does, but we definitely still get those colds and flus. Almost a year ago I had a pretty bad case of yucky sinuses at the end of a cold and there just didn't seem to be anything I could do to finally put an end to it. I started reading about different suggestions online for natural remedies that I hadn't tried yet and I came across some ideas for using essential oils.
