Needed Ingredients:1 ripe organic avocado, mashed until smooth2 teaspoons baking powder¼ teaspoon sea salt¼ cup coconut or avocado oil3 cups coconut flour2 cups filtered water5 tablespoons dark chocolate cocoa powder3 tablespoons of maple syrup (or to your desired taste)2 teaspoons vanilla extract2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (or squeezed lemon juice)
For The Frosting2 ripe organic avocados, mashed until smooth5 tablespoons dark chocolate cocoa powder2 tablespoons of maple syrup
Whisk all the ingredients until smooth
You should preheat the oven to 350F. Grease and (coconut) flour two 9” round cake pans. In a large bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk the avocado oil, vanilla extract, vinegar, avocado, and water. Once they are combined, you should add the maple syrup. Then, pour this mixture into the first (flour) mixture and make sure to stir well.
Next, you should pour equal parts of the mixture in the two cake pans and bake for 30 minutes. Let the cakes cool in the pans then you can take them out and leave them to cool for another 15 minutes. Add a frosting layer on the first cake layer then top the second one. You should pour the remaining frosting to the top of the entire cake. That is it!
